Paperless-ngx
The filing cabinet, searchable
Drop a scan into a folder and it comes out OCR'd, tagged, dated and full-text searchable. It learns which correspondent and document type to apply from what you have already filed, so after fifty documents it is usually right without being told. Bills, contracts, warranties and letters stop being a box in a cupboard.

Good to know
- Anything dropped in the consume folder is imported and then DELETED from it — that is by design, the original now lives in the archive
- Set the OCR language in Settings if your documents are not English; it defaults to English and gets Hebrew badly wrong
- The admin account is created on the first start from the credentials Podhouse generated —
